How do I Consign Items?

No appointment is necessary to bring your items to FiFi's. We accept consignment Monday through Friday 10-5pm. When you bring your items for the first time you will fill out a consignment contract that will then be turned into an account in our system. We look through your items that you have pre-sorted and let you know what will be accepted to consign in the store.

 We ask that you pre-sort your items, including by brand, age, and then for any stains, tears, faded fabrics or missing buttons. We try our best not to accept damaged items as we want to be able to sell your pieces. Though we love when you dry clean your items, please remove dry cleaner bags and shoes from boxes. As we move closer to being a greener store, this will help reduce waste and also make your check in time faster. Checking them before you bring them in will also help lower your wait time, making your experience at FiFi's a great one.

 What Can I Consign?

We accept women's clothing, shoes and accessories which includes: tops, bottoms, casual and formal dresses, shoes, purses, belts, hats and jewelry seasonally. There are a few things we ask that your do before you bring your items in. They are detailed below:

Consigning Basics:

• Freshly laundered, pressed and on hangers.
• Free from stains or damage, such as missing buttons or damaged zippers.
• Current styles and labels, typically less than 3 years old.
• Sizes PP up to 3X in clothing and sizes 5 to 12 in shoes.
• Authentic Labels (No fakes) 

Are there Labels you Do Not Accept?

Yes, there are some labels we do not accept. Due to current sales trends we will no longer be accepting labels like:
Kohl's (Apt. 9, So, Croft & Barrow, My Michelle, Sonoma, J Lo, Abbey Dawn, Candies, So), Maurices, Duck Head, Dress Barn, Cato, WalMart (Metro 7, Jaclyn Smith, Op, White Stag, George), Target (Mossimo, Xhiliration, Merona, Designer series for Target), Old Navy, Eddie Bauer, Casual Corner, Kim Rogers, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Wet Seal, Eyeshadow, Alfred Dunner, Koret, Body Central, HeartSoutl, Valerie Steves and any old store labels (blue Ann Taylor labels, Talbots with red "T"),  Petite Sophisticate, Crazy Horse, Axcess, Christopher Banks, Lee, Riders, Dockers, Lei, Mudd, Chaps, Champion, LL Bean, Bill Blass, No label or cut out tag items....not limited to or excluding other labels we deem unsuitable for resale.

How does it Work?

We sell your items for a term of 60 days. After the 60 days, items left in the store will be eligible for donation. If there are items that you want returned to you after the 60 days, it is your responsibility to pick up the items before they are donated. When an item sells, you receive 40% of the selling price of the item.

Our Consignment Philosophy:

Our goal for your consignment items is to sell them for you, and we'll do everything we can to make that happen. Based on experience and training in the fashion industry, we have an understanding of what sells. In addition, monthly sales reports allow us to see what particular items sell the best, and we're passing that knowledge on to benefit you, the consignor. We may agree that the dress you brought in is stunning or the business suit is fabulous, but we may not be able to consign it due to a variety of reasons (label age, style, integrity of fabric, overflowing stock, etc). Consigning is a learning curve and we'll be happy to assist you in the process!
